Also, we inform you that WhatsApp in its India monthly report for the month of November has reported that 37 lakh 16 thousand accounts have been banned between 1 November 2022 and 30 November 2022 under Information Technology Rules 2021. The report also noted that users filed complaints for banning some WhatsApp accounts in November compared to October. In November, WhatsApp received 946 complaints from users, including an application to ban 830 accounts, but WhatsApp took action against only 73 of these accounts.
