Although this year’s auction is smaller than last year’s, its impact is going to be huge. Let us tell you that in this auction, BCCI will allow teams to spend Rs 95 crore instead of Rs 90 crore. If the team releases a player, the cost will increase.
IPL is going to return to the old format
The format of IPL has changed a lot in the last few years. After 2020, the tournament was played on limited grounds only after Corona. But now with IPL 2023, IPL is going to return to its old colors. BCCI president Sourav Ganguly said,
“The last two years have been affected by Corona and the biggest thing is that despite the Covid, we managed to organize the tournament and this time, we concluded it with great enthusiasm in Kolkata and Ahmedabad”
