Rajasthan Vasundhara Raj needs Vasundharas like Yeddyurappa

It seems that just as BJP needs BS Yeddyurappa to succeed in politics in Karnataka, it needs Vasundhara Raje to succeed in Rajasthan. Elections are due in Rajasthan later this year and before that Bashundhara seems to be the only leader who is in a position to challenge the Congress along with most of the BJP leaders. Although till a few days ago many leaders starting from state president Satish Punia kept saying that BJP will fight the elections without showing any face or fight in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but now the picture has changed. The situation changed after Gulab Chand Kataria, considered Bashundhara’s opponent, became the governor.

Bashundhara showed her strength in Salasar on March 4 after Kataria’s exit from state politics. Although her birthday is on March 8, Bashundhara organizes her birthday party four days earlier and holds a big gathering because of Holi on that day. Almost half of the Rajasthan BJP ie a dozen MPs and more than 50 MLAs participated in it. Party in-charge general secretary Arun Singh also reached there. The party in-charge and the arrival of such a large number of MLAs, MPs means that the party high command has got the green signal. The BJP high command has understood that the politics of Rajasthan will not work without Bashundhara. BJP’s specialty is that it changes policies as per the needs of the leaders. After bidding farewell to BS Yeddyurappa in Karnataka, the party is once again struggling with its leadership. Similarly, after four-and-a-half years of trying to marginalize Bashundhara, the party is now giving her a facelift.
