Adampur by-election is an opportunity for all

Assembly by-elections will be held in Haryana’s Adampur. When Congress MLA Kuldeep Bishnoi quit the Congress, he also resigned from the Assembly. He has now joined the BJP and will contest on a BJP ticket in the by-elections. It is the traditional seat of the Bishnoi family. Kuldeep Bishnoi’s father late Bhajan Lal won the election from this seat. His family has held this seat since 1968. His father, his wife and himself are MLAs from this seat. This seat has been with his family for the last 54 years. So, Kuldeep has to save his family fortress. BJP also needs their help to show that there is no anti-incumbency against the party even after eight years of rule. BJP can send a big message through this.

On the other hand, Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda is speaking differently. Ever since the Congress high command returned all the leaders of the state and handed over the entire command to them, they have been looking for an opportunity to prove themselves. Because of Kuldeep Bishnoi, Congress candidate Ajay Maken has to avenge his defeat in Rajya Sabha elections and he also challenged Kuldeep. Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal recently held a rally in Adampur and said the seat could be the gateway to the state for AAP. That is, he has to join the party in Haryana from the by-election of this seat. Hardest for Jananayak Janata Party leader Dushyant Chautala. This assembly seat falls under Hisar Lok Sabha, from which Dushyant was an MP and lost to BJP’s Brajendra Singh in the last election. Now he is Deputy Chief Minister in BJP government. He may have to leave this seat with his family.
