    The Punjab Lok Congress, the party of former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, will formally merge with the BJP next week on September 19. Captain Amarinder Singh will take initial membership of BJP in the presence of BJP National President JP Nadda at BJP headquarters in New Delhi. Along with Captain, around 6 to 7 former Punjab MLAs, Captain’s son Raninder Singh, daughter Jai Inder Kaur, grandson Nirban Singh will also join BJP.
