Popular Front of India A bandh was called at the homes and other premises of its leaders on September 23 to protest raids on the offices of the PFI by multiple agencies led by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The PFI has announced a 12-hour strike from 6 am to 6 pm on Friday. The NIA operation was conducted on charges of aiding and abetting terrorist activities in the country. Current PFI masters abroad, including in Pakistan, are in poor condition. During the operation, ED and NIA recovered documents and evidence, enough to destroy the roots of the organization forever.
