BJP has apologized
Reacting to the video, Karnataka BJP general secretary Mahesh Tenginkai said it was “shameful”. He said that he saw the video on TV. “I’ll be very clear about this,” Tenginkai said, “a girl dancing and throwing money at him. These people do not know the value of money. Such examples show what the Congress culture is and we have seen it many times. I condemn it and hope Congress will look into it.
BJP spokesperson Ravi Naik also targeted the Congress and said, ‘What respect are they giving these girls, that is my only question. It seems that this is a culture that only Congress has. Because only Congress can explain the culture of throwing money at girls at weddings.
He said it was “absolutely wrong” for a leader of a political party to “behave in this way” during elections. He said the Congress worker should immediately apologize to the woman and the incident was “totally disrespectful to women”.
