At the same time, the Ministry of Health has banned the use of antibiotics under its guidelines. Antibiotics should not be used unless a bacterial infection is present, the revised guidelines state.
What to do for high-risk patients
Also, the guidelines call for high-risk patients to receive remdesivir, that too for five days. 200 mg IV on the first day and 100 mg IV for the next 4 days are prescribed. It should be noted that increasing cases of Corona in India have raised the concern of the government. Last Thursday, the Union Health Ministry wrote to six states Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. In the letter, these states were advised to emphasize test, track, treat and vaccinate.
1071 new cases in 24 hours in the country
Please state that in last 24 hours, 1071 new cases of corona have been reported in India. At the same time, three people died of corona. After 129 days, the country has registered more than 1000 cases in a single day. With this, the number of active patients in the country has now increased to 5915.
