Don’t take colds lightly, influenza turns dangerous, death due to H3N2 in Karnataka Haryana. Influenza virus H3N2 virus has claimed two lives in India, with medical authorities in the states of Haryana and Karnataka alarmed.

Influenza outbreak is increasing in different states of the country. Worryingly, two people have died so far from the H3N2 virus. One person died in Haryana and one in Karnataka due to this virus. There are 90 cases of the H3N2 virus across the country.

There are 90 cases of the H3N2 virus across the country. At the same time, 8 cases of H1N1 have been reported so far. There are three types of influenza, namely H1N1, H3N2 and influenza B, which is called Yama Gata. Currently there are two types of influenza virus H1N1 and H3N2 present in India.

Influenza patients are increasing rapidly across the country. Most of these cases are H3N2 only. This virus is also called Hong Kong flu. Common symptoms of influenza include cough, runny nose, shortness of breath and phlegm. Patients also complain of sore throat, body aches and diarrhea.
