    Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the National Conference of Environment Ministers of all states through video conference on Friday. Official sources said Modi’s participation in such national conferences of state policy makers follows a pattern. This is a deliberate effort on the part of the Prime Minister to give state leaders a national vision and vision while nurturing the spirit of cooperative federalism and ‘Team India’. (language)

    A collection of PM Modi’s speeches has been released today

    Former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu will release a collection of selected speeches of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday. The book is called Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Biswas – Prime Minister Narendra Modi Speaks (May 2019-May 2020). The book will be released in the presence of Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan at a function organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. An official statement said the book reflects Modi’s vision for a new India. The book highlights 86 speeches of the Prime Minister on various topics. (language)

    Lotus must bloom in Tamil Nadu: Nadda

    Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda on Thursday evening claimed that Tamil Nadu’s ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has no regional aspirations and like many regional political parties across the country wants to continue dynastic politics. He appealed to the people to rid the state of tribal groups. Nadda said BJP has a bright future in Tamil Nadu and great warriors like Marudhu Pandhi Bhai, Velu Nachiar and Puli Tevar will blossom in this holy land. Addressing a rally in Karaikudi in Sivaganga district, Nadda said regional parties in many states like Punjab, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have become family parties like the DMK in Tamil Nadu.     Indo-US ties stronger: Pentagon

    A senior Pentagon official said the relationship between India and the US is stronger than ever and both countries are looking forward to the future considering the current situation in the Indo-Pacific region. US Assistant Secretary of State for Indo-Pacific Security Dr. Ellie S. Ratner said the United States is supporting India’s ability to maintain the balance of power in the Indo-Pacific region. Dr. Ratner said, India’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar is scheduled to meet Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin at the Pentagon on Monday. He said, this meeting is taking place after Austin’s long phone conversation with Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. (language)
