Mule, who has acted in films like ‘Bhuvan Shome’ and ‘Hu Tu Tu’, appeared before special judge Rajesh Kataria for National Investigation Agency (NIA) cases and said he appeared as a surety for Navlakha. A bail bondsman undertakes that the person released from prison will appear before the court as directed.

What did the court say in the order?
In this case, the NIA had raised security concerns about a compound in Navi Mumbai where he proposed to stay during his detention. Actress Suhasini Mule appeared before NIA special judge Rajesh Kataria during the day and granted bail for Navlakha, which was accepted by the court.
In his order, the judge said, ‘As the prosecution (NIA) has strong objection to keep the accused in the premises due to security reasons, it is not appropriate to keep the accused under house arrest. premises indicated by them.’
The court also noted that, as per the arguments of the Special Public Prosecutor, the prosecution is going to file an assessment report of the premises in the Supreme Court and it would not be appropriate to transfer the accused there until further instructions from the top. the court

Gautam Navlakha got a big relief from the Supreme Court on November 10. The top court accepted Navlakha’s plea for house arrest and said there was no reason to reject her initial medical report. Also, the court said not to talk to the persons and witnesses related to the case. However Gautam Navlakha’s companion Sahba Hussain was allowed to stay with him.
A bench of Justices KM Joseph and Hrishikesh Roy said the house arrest order should be implemented within 48 hours. Along with this, the bench also directed Navlakha to deposit an estimated amount of Rs 2.4 lakh, which the National Investigation Agency (NIA) claimed to have spent on paying police personnel.
