Box Office Day 1 Collection: Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji’s film ‘Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway’ and comedian Kapil Sharma’s film ‘Zuigato’ released at the box office yesterday. The first day collection figures of the film are out in which Rani Mukerji has overtaken Kapil Sharma’s film. However, Rani’s ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ and Kapil Sharma’s ‘Zuigato’ opened in fewer theaters than Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Tu Ghuthi Mein Makkar’.

Rani’s performance won hearts

Rani Mukerji’s film ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ is a fan favourite. Everyone appreciated Rani’s performance in the film. The film is based on a true story, where two children were taken away from an Indian couple living in Norway. Rani Mukherjee is fighting to have children in the film. Rani’s film did a business of about one and a half crores on the first day.

Kapil Sharma’s ‘Zuigato’ lags behind in terms of earnings

On the other hand, Kapil Sharma’s ‘Juigato’ tells the story of the life and struggles of a delivery boy. This film is also running on the strength of Kapil Sharma alone. Fans are loving Kapil’s completely serial style of comedy, but in terms of earnings, Zuigato is less than Rani Mukerji’s film. Kapil Sharma’s film earned only 40 lakhs on the first day.

Pathan kingdom intact
