Honda Shine vs Bajaj Platina: Specifications

The Honda Shine is powered by a new 99.7cc air cooled single cylinder OBD2 compliant PGM-Fi engine. The company claims very good mileage, but is yet to reveal the figures related to it.

On the other hand, Bajaj Platina 100 gets a 102cc 4 stroke DTS-i single cylinder engine, which generates 7.9PS of maximum power and 8.3Nm of peak torque. It gets a 4 speed gearbox.

Honda Shine 100 is one of the smallest bikes in the country. It looks like it ranks second among the bikes with the lowest seat height It will have the second lowest ground clearance. The 11-litre fuel tank will be available on the Platina and the 9-litre fuel tank will only be available on the Shine.

Honda Shine 100 ex-showroom price starts at Rs 64,900. In comparison, the Bajaj Platina 100 is priced at Rs 67,475 ex-showroom. As you can see, Honda has launched the Shine 100 in the market at a very low price.
