The Honda Shine is powered by a new 99.7cc air cooled single cylinder OBD2 compliant PGM-Fi engine. The company claims very good mileage, but is yet to reveal the figures related to it.
On the other hand, Bajaj Platina 100 gets a 102cc 4 stroke DTS-i single cylinder engine, which generates 7.9PS of maximum power and 8.3Nm of peak torque. It gets a 4 speed gearbox.
